Bioavailable Fluoride, Calcium and Phosphate with Xylitol

Embrace Varnish also releases bioavailable calcium and phosphate ions, the essential building blocks of teeth. The xylitol coating prevents the calcium and phosphate salts from reacting until they come in contact with saliva. Saliva dissolves the xylitol and releases the calcium and phosphate ions, which react with the fluoride ions in saliva to form protective fluorapatite on the teeth.

Embrace Varnish setzt zudem bioverfügbare Kalzium- und Phosphat-Ionen frei, die wesentlichen Bausteine der Zähne. Die Xylitol-Beschichtung verhindert, dass die Kalzium- und Phosphatsalze reagieren, bis sie mit Speichel in Kontakt kommen. Der Speichel löst das Xylitol auf und setzt die Kalzium- und Phosphat-Ionen frei, die mit den Fluorid-Ionen im Speichel reagieren und so schützendes Fluorapatit auf den Zähnen bilden.
